A simple program (a suburban house behind walls) holds the everlasting program of architecture, the house as protection, as a shelter. We keep fascinated by Bin Laden´s late shelter. A generic house built by developers and builders, and yet iconic. Maybe the end of a war for Obama´s administration, maybe the starting point for the pleasures of analogue architecture, furthermore a rejection to the sorrows of the demand of constant novelties. |
